I envisioned expressing not only Boseman’s Legacy but how his career represented the spirit of being “Young Gifted and Black”, which was a powerful anthem about Black Pride, sung by Nina Simone. Boseman carries a weight of history portraying different giants such as Jackie Robinson, James Brown, Black Panther, and Thurgood Marshall.
