For more than a century, Detroit has been a sancturary for Black artistic expression and innovation, creating spaces that showcase creativity, even admits the challenges posed by traditional art institutions. The exhibit aims to honor that spirit by bringing together the talents of different generations in a unique gallery environment, thoughtfully curated to reflect the significance these works truly deserve.”
